Warehouse and Industrial Design Manager

LOCATION: Martinsville, IN

DUTIES: Manage warehouse team members, direct, plan and coordinate receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of quality FBF Originals products. Design, research and develop displays and products as well creating design efficiencies throughout the manufacturing, warehouse and product design process. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Supervise and execute shipping and receiving process, including, crating, labeling, and verifying completion of tasks to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. Maintain warehouse staff by collaborating with the HR in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Develop displays and exhibits for trade shows and ensure structural soundness of design to fit into pre-defined space requirements including blueprints, sample layouts for commercial exhibit, or fabrication needs. Analyze and develop efficiencies in manufacturing design and architectural structures.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field and 1 year of post-Bachelor’s experience, which must include experience with the following: Product and facility design using Rhinoceros, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop, Revit, and Adobe InDesign; Material Purchasing & Inventory Management; Navigating Logistics Sites and Logistics web data (Expo.Expeditors.com); utilizing Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics; and logistics-based analysis for outbound shipments. Pre-employment drug testing is required.
